Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Atlantis Tall Egg Planter is an aged ceramic pot in a tall egg profile, hand made in Vietnam and double fired for frost resistance. It comes in three sizes, from 46 x 54cm holding 70 litres up to 48 x 87cm holding 150 litres. The footprint barely changes while the height climbs, so you gain presence without losing paving.

Why you'll love it

  • Height without floor space. All three sizes sit between 46cm and 48cm across, but height runs 54cm, 71cm and 87cm.
  • Double fired for frost resistance. The second firing tightens the ceramic, so it can stay outside through a cold southern winter.
  • No two the same. The aged glaze is applied by hand and reads as weathered rather than new, with tone shifting across every piece.
  • Room for roots. Between 70 and 150 litres of mix, enough for a small tree to hold its size for years.

Sizes and what fits in them

Three sizes, quoted as outside width by height.

  • 46 x 54cm, 70 litres, 42kg empty. The everyday size. A clipped buxus ball, a dwarf citrus, a strappy lomandra or a standard rose.
  • 48 x 71cm, 110 litres, 57kg empty. Waist height before the plant starts. Suits a small feature tree, a frangipani or a sculptural agave.
  • 48 x 87cm, 150 litres, 69kg empty. Close to a metre of pot. Use a matched pair either side of an entry, or one where a plant needs lifting above a low wall.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Hand made aged ceramic from Vietnam, double fired. The glaze is intentionally uneven, so colour and texture vary between pieces.

Outdoors. Frost resistant and built to sit out in the weather, where the aged finish keeps developing. Stand it on pot feet so the base drains.

Drainage. Drilled and ready to plant. Keep the holes clear, screen each one with a single layer of fibreglass flyscreen (fabric and geofabric clog), add 50mm of 10mm gravel, then a premium potting mix rather than garden soil. Indoors it will still drain, so it needs a tray underneath.
