Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Atlantis Spring Bowl is the shallow piece in the range: 43cm across and 20cm deep, hand made in Vietnam and double fired for frost resistance. It carries the same heavily textured aged glaze as the tall Atlantis pots, in a form you can actually lift. At 10kg empty it is the one piece here that a single person can move and reposition.

The Spring Bowl is made in one size, quoted as outside width by height.

  • 43cm by 20cm. A shallow bowl. It suits succulents, sedums, echeveria, small strappy leaf plants and seasonal colour.
  • As a table piece. The low profile keeps the planting under eye level, so it works on an outdoor table where a tall pot blocks the view.
  • Not for woody plants. 20cm of depth dries quickly and will not hold a shrub or a tree. Match it to shallow rooted plants instead.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Hand made ceramic from Vietnam, double fired, finished in a textured aged glaze in natural tones. Empty weight is 10kg.

Outdoors. Frost resistance comes from the double firing, and the glaze is meant to weather. It will pick up patina outside rather than hold the finish it arrived with.

Drainage. Keep the drainage holes clear and raise the bowl on feet so water escapes. Screen each hole with a single layer of fibreglass flyscreen, never fabric or geofabric, because both clog. Add 50mm of 10mm gravel, then a premium potting mix, never garden soil. On a table or indoors it needs a tray under it.
