Can I get a colour that is not listed?

Yes. StoneLite, GRC and Terrazzo pots can be custom sprayed in almost any Dulux or Colorbond colour for an extra $60. Contact us before ordering.

The Riley Egg is a rounded plastic planter in a textured antique white finish, sold in 300mm, 400mm and 520mm. The egg profile carries a full soil volume without the hard shoulders of a cylinder, and gives roots a wide middle to spread into. All three sizes have a drainage hole and stay light enough to reposition.

Sizes and what fits in them

Sizes are the diameter at the widest point. Volumes are approximate.

  • 300mm. 280mm high, about 18 to 22 litres. Decorative foliage and compact plants, or a clipped ball beside a door.
  • 400mm. 360mm high, about 40 to 45 litres. Feature plants and shrubs, the usual working size for a patio or an office foyer.
  • 520mm. 470mm high, about 85 to 95 litres. Large shrubs and small trees, including anything you want to hold for years without repotting.

Material, weathering and drainage

Material. Moulded plastic with a textured antique white finish, part of the Riley range. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth or hose it down.

Outdoors. Approved for indoor and outdoor use and built to handle everyday outdoor conditions: gardens, courtyards, patios and balconies, as well as offices, retail and hospitality. It is not sold with a frost or UV rating, so a fully exposed inland position is its limit.

Drainage. A drainage hole is included in every size, and no saucer is supplied. Indoors, add one: the 400mm and 520mm shed a good volume of water after a soak. Use a quality free draining mix and stand the pot level.
